About Koldspots
Thermal IR Reactive targets are simple and safe. Just add water to activate the cooling media. Screw the lid on tightly and post the spot on your target. Kold Spot will immediately get cold and show up as a cold "Bullseye," giving you an easily distinguishable thermal target. The durable aluminum can will conduct the temperature evenly for up to 30 minutes and is capable of withstanding multiple impacts.
Passion for Percision
Our company was founded by a Marine corps veteran with over 20 years experience in the firearms industry. He came up with the idea for Kold Spots when he was asked by customers how to sight in their new thermal optics. He was underwhelmed by the offerings available and decided to do something to make things easier and safer for his customers.
- Cleanup: When finished shooting, carefully (damaged cans may be sharp) remove the used can and recycle.
- Optional: Rinse cooling media off the target stand and dilute media on the ground to prevent staining.
HOW TO USE KOLD SPOTS
- Tap That Can!:
Tap the can on a flat surface to settle the media before opening.
- Make It Wet:
Add 15 ml or half a "Shot"of water to the line inside the can, screw the lid back on, and shake.
- Stick it:
Peel the cover off the adhesive Pad on The bottom and apply the Spot to the target
- Bang it:
Take aim and fire...At the Spot I don't feel I really should have to specify that but aim at the Target.
Firearms Safety:
Guns are Awesome! Bleeding not so much, firearms safety is paramount to enjoying shooting sports. It doesn't matter your training level you should always practice
basic firearm safety
- Treat all guns as loaded: Always assume a gun is loaded, even if you've checked it.
- Point the muzzle in a safe direction: Never point a gun at anything you wouldn't want to shoot.
- Keep your finger off the trigger: Keep your finger outside the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot.
- Be sure of your target: Know what you're shooting at and what's behind it.
